This national recognition honors individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to advancing Junior Achievement’s mission.

JA's Gold Leadership Award recognizes volunteer excellence, celebrating individuals who have shown exceptional leadership in supporting and expanding JA’s student impact, resources, operational excellence, and sustainability. Tim’s contributions during the 2023-24 school year have left a lasting impact on JA Central Florida and beyond.

Tim’s award was announced at the 2025 Junior Achievement Gold Leadership Recognition Event in New York City, where he was highlighted for his dedicated service. A long-time champion of educational innovation and operational excellence, Tim has played a transformative role in shaping the future of JA both locally and nationally. His leadership includes serving as Board Chair for JA Central Florida and as a member of the 3DE National Board of Directors, where he has helped redefine education and career readiness for students across the country.

Tim’s pivotal efforts in launching 3DE by Junior Achievement have been instrumental in preparing students for success by integrating real-world problem-solving into the classroom. His integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment continue to inspire the next generation, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

"Our local business community’s support of JA is critical to achieving our mission—to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in the global economy," said Karen Revels, President of Junior Achievement of Central Florida. "Tim Myers is a remarkable example of that spirit of dedication and service to others. In a very real way, he helps Central Florida students gain the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic decisions."

Junior Achievement of Central Florida congratulates Tim Myers on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to continuing the work of empowering young people to reach their full potential.
