Junior Achievement Hosts 15,000 Orange County Students at JA Inspire Orange Presented by STAPLES

ORLANDO, FL – APRIL, 2025 – Junior Achievement of Central Florida (JA Central Florida) recently hosted JA Inspire Orange Presented by STAPLES, an immersive career exploration event that connected more than 15,000 eighth-grade students from Orange County Public Schools with hands-on experiences and real-world career pathways.

The event took place April 2–4, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center.

JA Inspire Orange Presented by STAPLES is a powerful, interactive experience where students discover future possibilities through engaging exhibits, tools of the trade, and direct conversations with professionals across high-demand industries. From healthcare and construction to hospitality, technology, and finance, students explore a wide range of career paths that align with their passions and talents.

The event featured career pathways in the following key industries: STEM and Information Technology, Health and Human Services, Government and Law, Education, Construction, Manufacturing and Transportation, Business and Finance, Arts and Hospitality, and Agriculture.

“JA Inspire Orange Presented by STAPLES is all about opening doors and sparking ambition,” said Karen Revels, President and CEO of JA of Central Florida. “This event is designed to show students what’s possible and help them take their first step toward bright, fulfilling futures. These students are our future workforce and community leaders—and we’re proud to support them with resources, mentors, and vision.”

The 3-day event welcomed thousands of students each day and featured interactive exhibits hosted by local businesses, industry leaders, and post-secondary institutions. As a bridge between the classroom and the workplace, JA Inspire Orange Presented by STAPLES empowers students to make informed decisions about their high school courses, post-secondary plans, and long-term career goals.

JA Inspire Orange Presented by STAPLES aligns with Junior Achievement’s mission to equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed for economic success and workforce readiness. By encouraging students to dream big and take actionable steps, the program addresses the region’s future talent pipeline and helps build a more prepared, engaged, and inspired generation.
